Moranghurk Shearer’s Quarters accommodation offers the unique experience of a relaxed weekend in a delightful rural setting, in one of Victoria’s premier food and wine producing areas close to the cities of Melbourne, Geelong and Ballarat.
The heritage Shearer’s Quarters, built from bluestone in 1920, has been fully restored to provide simple yet comfortable sleeping accommodation for up to 30 visitors.
A central focal point within the building is the large country kitchen with original wood-fired stove and bread oven, where food-lovers can cook up a feast or just sit back and warm their toes.

" Great accommodation in a special location on a hill above the Moorabool River, a short drive north of Geelong. Very comfy beds, warm rooms, well appointed kitchen with an amazing wood stove. Great fireplace outside, very atmospheric at night. Good hot showers. Great for a group that wants to get away but doesn't want to camp. "
